HISTORY

HVS (Hemne Videregående Skole)

The Turks and Greeks will arrive at HVS around 10.00hrs on Tuesday.  Their Norwegian hosts (pupils) will welcome them and include them in lessons.  They will eat at the canteen.  The Turkish and Greek pupils will return home with their hosts at the end of the school day (15.10hrs).

This day will be spent working on the goals within the project:

FILM

The pupils from each country will show their film about their country’s activities related to seasons.

FILM QUIZ

The pupils will work in groups to solve quizzes related to the films.

CATWALK

Various pupils from each country will take part in a catwalk to show us their country’s clothes for winter and summer.  The pupils not taking part in the catwalk will be the audience.  Berit Aunli will tell us about suitable clothes for skiing.

QUESTIONNAIRE

The pupils will work in groups to answer the questionnaire related to the catwalk.

This is a multicultural evening for students, parents and teachers involved in Mind the Gap.  There will be light entertainment from each participating country and the chance to get to know each other.  Light snacks will be served.

PS:  Girls:  this is the day you can ask a boy to marry you………..

Thursday 1^st March

SKI ACTIVITY DAY

SKI CENTRE

We will spend Thursday at the Ski Centre, which is about 10 minutes away by bus.  The buses will collect us outside the school at 09.30hrs.  Students will take a packed lunch from home, but there will also be hotdogs served at the ski cabin.

This meeting is for the Comenius teachers only.

Pizza Buffet.  The buffet is paid for by the Norwegian Comenius Team; the drinks are paid for by each individual… (water is free and VERY good in Norway!!).
